Spotlight Cat

Meet Landon!

I love to play – just watch my video:  https://youtu.be/NRuA9MDjwVs I have a nice level of confidence about me, so I adjust quickly to new people and places, and I greet new people with confidence and curiosity. You would never know that I came from a hoarding situation where I lived with nine other kitties and twenty-two dogs in a garage!  I was amazingly healthy despite that difficult situation; I needed all my teeth removed (doesn’t stop me from eating heartily!) and I’ve gained weight with good food. I am healthy and ready for a home!  I am up to date on my vaccines, spayed, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and microchipped.  I’ve had blood work done and my liver, kidney and thyroid are all healthy.  I was born in September 2019. I seem to be fine with other kitties and because I’m confident, I’m probably fine with dogs and children. I am living in a private foster home so please do an application for adoption at www.mainecoonadoptions.com.

Hi! My name is Isabella and I’m a classic Maine Coon (mix) kitty, with my eyeliner-lined amber eyes, fluffy ruff, and sweet spirit. Watch my video to see how stunning I am!  https://youtu.be/e_mh-4P7keM You might note that I look a bit thin…and I have quite the story, except the only part that you know about is that I was adopted from Maine Coon Adoptions (MCA) when I was younger…and then, in September 2019, I was found wandering in a field on Long Island – that’s right, all the way across the country by New York City!  I was super thin, pretty matted, kind of beaten down…. but look at me now, just barely a month back with my MCA friends!  I’m eating well, really enjoying pets, chatting at times, and feeling content again!  I was born in September 2004 which means that I am in my mid-70s in human years. I am tested negative for FIV and FeLV, spayed, up to date with my vaccines, and microchipped. My liver and thyroid are in great shape; I do have early kidney disease, as is very common in kitties of my age, but I love my special kidney food, and kitties like me can live – and have a very high quality of life! – for several years with this.
