How to Meet our Kitties
There are three ways you can meet our kitties:
Adoption fairs
We hold monthly adoption fairs in San Jose (usually 1st Saturday of the month) and Oakland usually (3rd Saturday of the month). Check our Adoption Fairs Page for the exact dates and locations.
Andy's Pet Shop
On alternate months, we show some kitties at Andy's Pet Store, located at 1280 The Alameda (at Julian), in San Jose (click here for a map).
We will be in Andy's from December 2, through about January 4 2009.
The store employees are happy to let you meet the kitties briefly, but be mindful that they have a store to run! You can spend more time with the kitties once you have completed an Adoption Application and have been approved to adopt. We also have a large notebook located outside the Adoption Center that has wonderful large, full color ads on each of our available kitties (who are also online at PetFinder.com and VirtualPetAdoptions.com). The new owner of Andy's is a big supporter of Animal Rescue, and she typically has cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and other rescue animals available for adoption. or click here for the store website).
Arrange for a Meeting
Once you have completed an Adoption Application and have been approved to adopt, we can make special arrangements for you to meet kitties that interest you.
