Our Overlooked Kitties

Here are some of our kitties that, for some reason, have been overlooked by adopters. Perhaps they are a bit "mature" (i.e. older), or a bit shy, or... who knows why? We know that all animals give back far more love than we can ever give them, and so we hope you will consider one of these kitties.

Charlie

Charlie

Hi there, I'm Charlie! I'm about three years old, which means I'm still a cheeky young chappie, so naturally my favorite thing to do is play, play, play! Toys, paper bags -- if I can, I'll play with it or in it. My favorite toy is the pink fluffy thing on a stick, which I’ll pounce on and then carry around the room in my mouth! I love pouncing on my sister, although she's not so crazy about that game. It's not all fun and games with me, though; I like to snuggle, too, as long as I can get to know you first. I get along well with other kitties, but I'm a bit shy on my own so I'd like to be adopted with my sister Claudia or with another kitty friend. I have tested positive for FIV, but that's really no big deal as long as we all get along. The virus can only be transmitted by a deep bite, and FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives. You can see my well-rounded purrsonality in my video: http://youtu.be/DK-XF3p3bZA.

Claudia

Claudia

Hi there! My name is Claudia, not a name you hear very often, but then again, I’m not a kitty you see every day. First of all, take a look at my striking tortie markings and lined eyes! Also, I just love to play with toys or feathers, and I love petting. I even love sitting on laps, on beds (or pillows) and cuddling with people. Just see how much I love getting pets: http://youtu.be/0muqw_YFmnM.I am about three years old, and I get along great with other kitties. My brother Charlie and I love playing and chasing each other, and then we'll snuggle up on a chair together. I have tested positive for FIV, which sounds alarming, but it's really not. FIV+ kitties can live long, healthy lives, and we can share a home with other cats if we all get along because the virus can only be transmitted by a deep bite. I have a best pal named Charlie, but I can be adopted on my own.
